Summer schedule changes

Children's daycamps in the community centres and lower demand for indoor activities during the warmer months will bring some changes to the schedule. These changes will be in effect through July and August.

  • Aquafit will move to Carling Heights beginning July 6. The Monday and Wednesday sessions will be slightly earlier in the morning, from 9:20 to 10:20.
  • Basketball will stay at Stronach this summer but begin one hour earlier, from 9am to 10:30, beginning Tuesday, June 30.
  • Pickleball will close for the summer at Stronach and South London. Days and times will remain the same at North London. Pickleball will be two days a week at Carling Heights, on Monday mornings from 8 to 10 and Thursday afternoons from 1 to 3. Both days will be the full gym, with eight courts available.

Our cycling groups, like the Blazing Saddles, have now all started their riding seasons. Most of the groups limit the number of riders to maintain safety. Contact the conveners if you're interested in joining.
This community group for traumatic injury survivors and their supporters plays soccer and ball hockey after Huff n' Puff on Mondays and Fridays. Some of our ball hockey players joined them after our regular game for a spirited competition.
Euchre had a good turnout on its first day. They play every Thursday afternoon until the end of May at the Byron Community Centre.
